To take my sin seriously, and use all the means God has given to fight it.

Not to seek false fruit. To not merely "be good", but to strive after Christ, and have "goodness" be the undeniable fruit of that relationship alone.

When I purposely sin, trace it back to what originally caused it; strategically plan to do it no more and fight and pray with all of my might to never do it again.

To cherish relationships that God has given to me and to continuously look for new relationships that God should place in my life.

That when I realize that what I am doing is done to lift up myself in other's eyes, to turn away from it.

To choose not to love what is detestable in the sight of the Lord.  - Hosea 9:10

Resolved:

When a time thus comes to make a life decision, to cherish and reverence as weightier God's written word and personally heard voice, than mere human reasoning, evening if it is forthcoming from another.

Translation - Value the Bible and personally hearing God's voice as more important than my own reasoning or what people think is best.

To think of ways to motivate myself, and others, to acts of love and good works (Hebrews 10:24)

To think of death, and the glories, and the terrors to come.

To not make a nest on earth, but a crown to cast down in Heaven.
